NutroCare Thiotron tablets provide 300mg of Thioctic Acid, also known as Alpha Lipoic Acid. Thioctic Acid is a compound present in every cell in the body. Thioctic Acid is highly involved in energy metabolism and converts glucose into energy.

 

Thioctic Acid is also a potent antioxidant, providing protection to cells from oxidative stress. It is widely used in patients with peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage) to help with symptoms due to its antioxidant properties especially in diabetic patients.

Directions​

Take two to four tablets daily in divided doses on an empty stomach or as directed by a healthcare professional.
Swallow with a glass of water or a cold drink. Do not chew.

 

Caution

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Thioctic Acid may cause nausea, dizziness, rash, tingling or muscle cramps- generally these are uncommon. May cause
hypoglycaemia in diabetic patients and should be used under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Store below 25˚C, in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
